How this site handles the personal data of people who visit it and of people who apply to «Lancio in due». It is a static site: it sets no cookies, uses no analytics tools and loads nothing from third parties.

Who the controller is

The data controller is Margherita Barbieri. For anything concerning personal data, including the rights described below, the address to write to is info@margheritabarbieri.net.

Data is handled in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Italian law, as the controller is established in Italy.

What data is collected

This site collects personal data in three ways: when someone fills in the application form, when someone writes to the email address above, and through the technical logs that every server produces in order to serve a site.

The application form collects your name, your email address and your answers about your own business: what you sell, who you sell it to, what you would like to launch. The form asks for no payment details, no tax details and none of the special categories of data under Article 9 GDPR, and you are asked not to put any into the free-text fields.

Anyone who sends an email provides their address and whatever they choose to say in the message.

The hosting provider’s technical logs include the originating IP address, the date and time of the request, the address requested, the type of browser and the outcome of the request. They exist to deliver the service and to keep it secure.

Why it is processed, and on what basis

Answering an application or a message. The data is used to get back to you, to understand what you are asking and to judge whether we can work together. The legal basis is steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Keeping the site secure. The technical logs keep the service available and defend it against automated submissions and unusual traffic. The legal basis is the controller’s legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Legal obligations. Where necessary, data may be processed to comply with legal obligations or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims (Article 6(1)(c) and (f) GDPR).

Data collected through this site does not feed any newsletter, is not used for unsolicited marketing, and is not used for profiling or advertising. If other uses were ever planned, you would be asked for specific consent and given an updated notice.

Giving your data is optional

Providing your data is optional: no part of this site requires you to register. Your name and email address are, however, needed in order to reply to you — without them an application cannot be answered.

How it is handled, and who it is shared with

Processing is carried out by electronic means, with measures appropriate to prevent unauthorized access, loss or disclosure. Traffic between your browser and this site travels over an encrypted connection.

Data is not published, sold or passed on. It is known to the controller and to the providers who process it on her behalf, appointed as processors under Article 28 GDPR. As at the date of this notice, those providers are:

  • Tally, the platform that hosts the application form;
  • the provider of the infrastructure that hosts and delivers this site and keeps its technical logs;
  • the provider of the email service used to reply.

There is no automated decision-making and no profiling.

Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer takes place only under one of the safeguards in Chapter V GDPR: an adequacy decision of the European Commission, or standard contractual clauses together with any additional measures required. An up-to-date list of providers can be requested by writing to info@margheritabarbieri.net.

How long it is kept

Applications from people who do not go on to work with me are kept for 24 months from the day they arrive, and then deleted. Where work does begin, data is kept for as long as the working relationship lasts and for the periods required by law afterwards, in particular tax and accounting ones. Technical logs are kept for the period set by the hosting provider.

Your rights

At any time you can ask for access to your data, for it to be corrected or erased, for processing to be restricted, for portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest (Articles 15–22 GDPR). Just write to info@margheritabarbieri.net: you will get an answer within one month.

If you believe the processing breaches the GDPR you can lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it), or with the supervisory authority of the country where you live.

Changes

This notice may be updated, for example if the tools in use change. The version published here is always the one that applies.
